What would you tell your younger version of yourself: Start a lot earlier and realize it will take time to be what you want to be. Although I accomplished a lot in motocross and enjoyed my many wins and championship wins, I wish I would have started bodybuilding around 17 instead of around 21-22 when I started taking it more serious.
What tip would you give to an aspiring athlete/bodybuilder: It takes time to become anything great. Set short term realistic goals like winning a local show or obtaining a certain body fat percentage on stage and take them one step at a time. Don’t start thinking you’re going to be a pro next year or thinking you will step on the Olympia Stage in 4-5 years because it likely won’t happen unless you are a genetic freak. People work years chasing their pro card and even if they do win a pro qualifier, they are right back at the bottom again as if they just started in the NPC. Winning a pro show is harder than becoming a pro. All of these steps were set by these amazing people with one realistic vision at a time.

What would you tell an aspiring body builder: The best thing you can do is, act like you don’t know anything. That gives you the opportunity to learn everything and you gain more knowledge.”
What is the key to your success: Family it is what makes me not want to quit and they are the reason I work so hard. I want them to have a better life then I had. I started working at the age of 7. I want to give them so much more and not have to worry.
